Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conni Viehl, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Conni Viehl did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Marcos Cotilla 5 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bonito Teufer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anjo Gafus. Fc Schönhagen 1's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Piller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Anjo Gafus. Fc Schönhagen 1's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anjo Gafus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play forced Fc Schönhagen 1's goalkeeper Anjo Gafus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Panama booed when Fc Schönhagen 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Piller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Conni Viehl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Schönhagen 1's supporters rose to their feet, but Conni Viehl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Blaise Immel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blaise Immel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Conni Viehl hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Alguacil in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anjo Gafus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anjo Gafus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of play.

In the 51st minute, Blaise Immel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of play forced Fc Schönhagen 1's goalkeeper Anjo Gafus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anjo Gafus was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 3-3. Anjo Gafus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Abraham Alguacil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anjo Gafus. That made the score 3-4 after 62 minutes of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conni Viehl in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Piller in the 73rd minute of play. Matti Ehinger hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Abraham Alguacil from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Anjo Gafus's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Piller in the 79th minute of play. Matti Ehinger's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matti Ehinger helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Schönhagen 1 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Heiner Wirtz charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heiner Wirtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anjo Gafus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panama had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
