The supporters of Panama booed when Brújula FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Cilio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Arnaldo Cilio made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Arnaldo Cilio in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Cilio came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Arnaldo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Brújula FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ognen Čaparovski hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Brújula FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 35th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Cilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnaldo Cilio to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Brújula FC's Matias Cerilo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Bartolo Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Arnaldo Cilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Cilio was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Brújula FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Brújula FC's Humberto Faro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Arnaldo Herensuge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 66th minute of play forced Brújula FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Brújula FC's Arnaldo Cilio. Arnaldo Cilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
