Benito Pacorro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Alo Hurt scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. In the 16th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Covarrubias's late challenge caught a U21 Totoras F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Polo in the 18th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Epifanio Valery in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alo Hurt in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alo Hurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Epifanio Valery threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th match minute, U21 Totoras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Tadzio to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Alo Hurt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 Totoras F.C. were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Epifanio Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 58th minute of the match. U21 Totoras F.C. made a substitution. Alfréd Marton replaced Alo Hurt. 71 minutes into the game, Alfréd Marton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Epifanio Valery came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Epifanio Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfréd Marton came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfréd Marton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. U21 Totoras F.C. were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Polo took the corner. The corner ended in Tadeo Evarado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. Benito Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Presebal Ubiña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfréd Marton in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Polo was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Totoras F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 95 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Totoras F.C. the free kick. After 95 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Seco. The U21 Totoras F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
