With his leg Lucas Eron managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th match minute, MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Benet to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS's Leonel Katia got a free kick in the 53rd minute. MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS's Lucas Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 54th minute of play. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Eron having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lucas Eron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS's Norberto Iigo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 91st minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. MALDITOS PEAKY BLINDERS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Eron having to interfere. Gregorio Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
