Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Niculae Romanescu in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Romanescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Isak Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tymoteusz Wierzcholek got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marco van Basten. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute of play. Niculae Romanescu came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig. But to his dismay, Guillermo Fontirroig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A hard shot 61 in the game by Isak Lundqvist from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Niculae Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute of play. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lukasz Haszczak was substituted for Tymoteusz Wierzcholek. After 72 minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Xavier Figueroa advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-2 in the 73rd minute.
