The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso de la Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Chicote during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Achilleas Kyriakakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Alexis Roubanis charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Roubanis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dhrνalon getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alexis Roubanis hit a great ball. Achilleas Kyriakakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Alexis Roubanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhrνalon's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Roubanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theocharis Bountouris charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theocharis Bountouris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dhrνalon's Theocharis Bountouris got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dhrνalon's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Dhrνalon's Sokratis Pakaltsis. Sokratis Pakaltsis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prokopis Thomakoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Alexis Roubanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexis Roubanis was the one to do the kick off. Sokratis Pakaltsis made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sokratis Pakaltsis having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sokratis Pakaltsis having to make a save. After some careless play in the Dhrνalon defense, Julio Chicote kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sokratis Pakaltsis. The Dhrνalon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sokratis Pakaltsis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Achilleas Kyriakakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Achilleas Kyriakakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eduardo Fontirroig fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Eduardo Fontirroig a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Achilleas Kyriakakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhrνalon's supporters rose to their feet, but Achilleas Kyriakakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 80 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sokratis Pakaltsis having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sokratis Pakaltsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 86th minute of the match. Julio Chicote blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sokratis Pakaltsis having to make a save. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Dhrνalon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bolivia's performance. The match ended with a win for Bolivia.
