Ali Orhan Tuncer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Orhan Tuncer. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alptuğ Boğataş in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Lonzo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Ramon Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAVİ İSTANBUL FC the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alptuğ Boğataş's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alptuğ Boğataş who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ramon Lonzo sent off a good shot on target. The corner led MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Temel Koçak to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Gökalp Hızlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Gökalp Hızlan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Gökalp Hızlan got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ali Orhan Tuncer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alptuğ Boğataş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alptuğ Boğataş. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alptuğ Boğataş sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Alptuğ Boğataş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ramon Lonzo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAVİ İSTANBUL FC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
