Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Otomar Plíva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otomar Plíva in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Otomar Plíva notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Martin Lanc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jiří Bobek struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Slavoj Vyšehrad. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otomar Plíva in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Otomar Plíva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. When SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Otomar Plíva in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After 46th play minutes Otomar Plíva shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Otomar Plíva made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Otomar Plíva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Alfons Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Alfons Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otomar Plíva took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 66 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Otomar Plíva came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Jiří Bobek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Otomar Plíva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jiří Bobek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otomar Plíva in the 86th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jiří Bobek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Öberg in the 95th minute of play. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
