After taking down the ball on Pannekoeken's corner Stephan Overmars fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Gozdowski quite easily take care of the ball. Stephan Overmars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stephan Overmars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Artur Gozdowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Rzeszutek's late challenge caught a Pannekoeken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolek Rzeszutek helped the player get up and apologised. Tolek Rzeszutek kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Stephan Overmars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Plaggenborg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Arno Zonneveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Gozdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Erwin Heerspink recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Gozdowski. Erwin Heerspink showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Erwin Heerspink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Gozdowski having to interfere. Ronald Kip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa in the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Boruta during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Erwin Heerspink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artur Gozdowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 60 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Arno Zonneveld. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arno Zonneveld in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Gozdowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Wawrzyniec Kostrzewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pannekoeken fans cheered their team off the field, for while ZŁ Bielsko-Biała had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
