Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudiu Becheanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Plácido Sá hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Horea Marin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cesário Sanches was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th minute, Nicolau Fagundes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Gervásio Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Pontassolense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Anjos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Nicolau Fagundes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Plácido Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mădălin Rotariu. The Valar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Plácido Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Mădălin Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Anjos in the 31st minute of the match. Mădălin Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolau Fagundes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolau Fagundes made a kick off. The Valar's Mădălin Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Anjos in the 51st minute of play. Marin Brătescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marin Brătescu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolau Fagundes got free with Mădălin Rotariu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Passos's late challenge caught a The Valar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Passos helped the player get up and apologised. Cesário Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Apolzan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonardo Fragoso hit a great ball. When Toader Bălace fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Valar's protests and gave Toader Bălace a yellow card for diving instead. Dorel Joja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cesário Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Mugurel Seţeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Afonso Castanheira came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the AD Pontassolense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Castanheira couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes, Ernest Apolzan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Valar and the AD Pontassolense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ernest Mihele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mădălin Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Anjos in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Horea Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Valar's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesário Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Claudiu Becheanu hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AD Pontassolense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
