Christian Van Maestricht struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. René Batum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Draconia. Pannekoeken's René Batum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig McAlphie in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Leon Schoonmaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopold Weijnants might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Batum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopold Weijnants ran back to his position shaking his head. René Batum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Weijnants in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Freddy Olemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Batum. Pannekoeken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Olemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute Kraig McAlphie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Batum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Struelens kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. René Batum came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Draconia's Dany-Adams Cappels. But to his dismay, Dany-Adams Cappels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alexandros Sgouros hit a great ball. Leopold Weijnants's late challenge caught a Pannekoeken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopold Weijnants helped the player get up and apologised. Leopold Weijnants kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Floris Abbenbroek came free, but Giles Lanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Draconia's Giles Lanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Floris Abbenbroek in the 31st minute of play. René Batum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giles Lanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joeri Das in the 38th minute of play. Giles Lanen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Floris Abbenbroek in the 39th minute. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Floris Abbenbroek hit a great ball. René Batum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Olemans in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Olemans came free, but René Batum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Floris Abbenbroek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig McAlphie came free, but René Batum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kraig McAlphie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Joeri Das mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Draconia's Freddy Olemans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of René Batum. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. Leopold Weijnants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but René Batum made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Kraig McAlphie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. René Batum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 70th minute, Joeri Das made a precise shot to the right of Giles Lanen. FC Draconia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. FC Draconia's Etienne Langhmans was substituted for Kraig McAlphie. 76 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Floris Abbenbroek came free, but Giles Lanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joeri Das in the 79th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Giles Lanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Etienne Langhmans got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Floris Abbenbroek hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Etienne Langhmans got free with René Batum in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Draconia's Freddy Olemans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of René Batum. That made the score 1-5 after 88 minutes of play. Leopold Weijnants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but René Batum made a huge save. René Batum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etienne Langhmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, FC Draconia's Freddy Olemans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. FC Draconia played a much better game than Pannekoeken and deserved their victory. The Pannekoeken players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
