An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Hološko in the 9th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper René Batum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harold Breugel's late challenge caught a The Last Airbender's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harold Breugel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Harold Breugel got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mehmet Halis Haliç took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Batum. René Batum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mehmet Halis Haliç took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Batum. René Batum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sungur Yalçın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Last Airbender's Filip Hološko got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pannekoeken's René Batum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Hološko in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes, Dirk-Jan Vennegoor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the The Last Airbender players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Pannekoeken's zone, Mehmet Halis Haliç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Batum came out of the goal and Mehmet Halis Haliç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. René Batum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungur Yalçın in the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Korkut Aktar during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Muhittin Suyurgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joeri Das in the 36th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joeri Das was the one to do the kick off. Hacı Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Joeri Das scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muhittin Suyurgal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute of the game Vural Balabey made a throw-in which Sungur Yalçın played forward. 58 minutes into the game, Martien Crans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Muhittin Suyurgal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's Joeri Das sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhittin Suyurgal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. René Batum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungur Yalçın in the 69th minute of the match. During the 76th minute of the match Ahmet Korkut Aktar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Korkut Aktar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ahmet Korkut Aktar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. René Batum came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by The Last Airbender's Mehmet Halis Haliç. But to his dismay, Mehmet Halis Haliç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Mehmet Halis Haliç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. René Batum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhittin Suyurgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Last Airbender walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
