Iulian Nisipeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Vârnav during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iulian Nisipeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Vasconcelos in the 17th minute of the match. Frederico Smith made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Filip Valerian sent off a good shot on target. If Vivaldo Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Vasconcelos made a kick off. Iulian Nisipeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Mureșan came free, but Frederico Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Buzgar in the 71st minute of play. Frederico Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Valerian, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube do Remo MZ's Vivaldo Soeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iulian Nisipeanu. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. Clube do Remo MZ made a substitution. Zé Carlos Toscano replaced Elivélton Valladares. 89 minutes into the match, Edinho Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Nisipeanu. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinho Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.
