In the 15th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Montrel to maneuver through the defense. When C.A. LANUS's Adamantios Geronimidis in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo got control of the ball when Prospero Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 26th minute of play. Saul Montrel scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Mergildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adamantios Geronimidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Adamantios Geronimidis sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Montrel in the 59th minute of play. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Geronimidis in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, José Serrizuela managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Xiao Xiang Ling got a free kick in the 64th minute. José Serrizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Saul Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Laurendi to maneuver through the defense.
