Cristian Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kip William, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Kip William cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristian Mergildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kip William's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 18 played minutes C.A. LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Zahran Hermansyah. Kip William might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Mergildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kip William ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kip William, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Blas Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Serrizuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Prospero Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 38th minute of the match. Cristian Mergildo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by La Acade's Kip William. But to his dismay, Kip William quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 48th minute Adamantios Geronimidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adamantios Geronimidis to make the kick off. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kip William in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kip William in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. 58 minutes into the game, Pang Xing Lang threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Acade's Guillermo Soin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 60th minute of play forced C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Acade booed when C.A. LANUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahran Hermansyah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, La Acade's Kip William nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Mergildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kip William sped through C.A. LANUS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Mergildo. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Serrizuela in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Saturnin in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Felipe Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Mergildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Mergildo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by La Acade's Felipe Saturnin. But to his dismay, Felipe Saturnin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Acade had won after a very even match.
