Nestor Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Kaan Öztanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Montrel got free with George Buturugã in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Öztanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Lia took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Buturugã. George Buturugã dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Sulo Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Montrel got free with George Buturugã in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Perico. 34 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Lia came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Özgür Özbay. But to his dismay, Özgür Özbay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan suffered a fractured collar bone after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Prospero Perico fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos de Carelia's protests and gave Prospero Perico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Perico to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Öztanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Lia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 71st minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Tamkut. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Pavao Zadro replaced Cristobal Lia. Vecdi Tamkut hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sulo Montaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nestor Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sulo Montaña sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Sulo Montaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the final whistle sounded LOI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lobos de Carelia.
