Rodrigo Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Eguen in the 6th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Paulo Eguen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 minutes of play, MORPH's Paulo Eguen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Pes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the game, Lilo Ramírez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MORPH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballeritos del Baile the free kick. After 9 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Lilo Ramírez. Melquiades Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Caballeritos del Baile were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after MORPH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Larpe took the corner. Agustin Ilixo made a great header on Caballeritos del Baile's corner, it was just that MORPH's Melquiades Mambru managed to reach the ball for a save. Paulo Eguen scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Pes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Paulo Eguen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MORPH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. MORPH's Zeledon Dorio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elpidio Hitz in the 24 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 25th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MORPH booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Mambru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half MORPH were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Eguen made a kick off. Paulo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Pes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Txanton to maneuver through the defense. MORPH's Carel Rokeloos was substituted for Paulo Eguen. Arnulfo Txanton hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pes came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by MORPH's Isidro Lano. But to his dismay, Isidro Lano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Rodrigo Pes made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Lu Zhi Lin sent off a good shot on target. MORPH were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Caballeritos del Baile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anastasio Lluques took the corner. The corner ended in Isidro Lano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes did a great save. With an all-out effort, MORPH's Rodrigo Pes threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Lano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 71st minute of the match. If Lu Zhi Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lu Zhi Lin. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caballeritos del Baile fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, MORPH's Anastasio Lluques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodrigo Pes. In the 88th minute Carel Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caballeritos del Baile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Carel Rokeloos scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Pes, making the score, 1-7. 96 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Lano came free, but Rodrigo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
