The audience was convinced that Teo Paez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Horado was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos in the 34th minute of play. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Paez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CAI NEUQUEN's Anacleto Unax quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zeledon Dorio, made in the 44th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Pasqual stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual. But to his dismay, Cipriano Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 55th minute Cipriano Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Rokeloos in the 58th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MORPH booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. MORPH's Paulo Eguen was substituted for Carel Rokeloos. After 61 played minutes CAI NEUQUEN got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Rufio. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Lano in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Dionisio Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pasqual came free, but Melquiades Mambru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual. But to his dismay, Cipriano Pasqual quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ermegildo Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Zeledon Dorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MORPH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAI NEUQUEN the free kick. Zeledon Dorio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Rufio to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, CAI NEUQUEN's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Lluques came free, but Ermegildo Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CAI NEUQUEN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
