An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 34th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Elpidio Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Bengt-Arne Åberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damián Martínez. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
