They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 彭竞常 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when 郑崇谦 got free with Ziemowit Klejnowski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daan Leerss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ziemowit Klejnowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute 彭竞常 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pang Bang Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daan Leers might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ziemowit Klejnowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daan Leers ran back to his position shaking his head. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 重庆1997足球俱乐部 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
