Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavies Muñagorri started the match with the kick off. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Muñagorri in the 3rd minute of play. Pepijn Hummel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes, FC Bruges's Lasse Kroner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bruges reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavies Muñagorri in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. Xavies Muñagorri struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bruges. 17 minutes into the game, Ksawery Gongola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luc Van Hinnendael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Muñagorri came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FFC Merainies 03's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lasse Kroner was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bruges's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Bruges's corner Lasse Kroner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu quite easily take care of the ball. Ksawery Gongola had several of the FC Bruges's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Luc Van Hinnendael as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mac Mon in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match FC Bruges got a corner. FFC Merainies 03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lasse Kroner ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Bruges's corner Lasse Kroner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu quite easily take care of the ball. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Gongola, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shane Corrigan during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shane Corrigan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Leon Craandijk notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, FFC Merainies 03's Pepijn Hummel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luc Van Hinnendael. Luc Van Hinnendael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ksawery Gongola made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavies Muñagorri. If Xavies Muñagorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leon Craandijk scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luc Van Hinnendael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Craandijk in the 58th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shane Corrigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FFC Merainies 03's Gertjan Engbers was substituted for Jörgen Kjellqvist. 65 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavies Muñagorri. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Shane Corrigan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bruges's supporters rose to their feet, but Shane Corrigan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Mon in the 67th minute of the match. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 69th minute of play. Leon Craandijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mac Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute Mac Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Craandijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Mac Mon came free, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mac Mon took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. FFC Merainies 03's Job Gasteren was substituted for Pepijn Hummel. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Mac Mon sped through FFC Merainies 03's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. When Mac Mon fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Mac Mon a yellow card for diving instead. FFC Merainies 03 made a substitution. Jarne Bemmel replaced Angelo Renzi. In the 91st match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mac Mon to maneuver through the defense.
