Abraham Temen hit a great ball. Decathlon Dudes's Gerrit Kemper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Decathlon Dudes's zone, Dan Kjellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerrit Kemper came out of the goal and Dan Kjellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dan Kjellman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerrit Kemper was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Abraham Temen in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder.
