Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 6th minute of play. When FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Silver Squad AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner. Marick Brunt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marick Brunt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter did a great save. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Silver Squad AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marick Brunt took the corner. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Dan Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Silver Squad AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marick Brunt took the corner. Waud De Geyter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Kjellman went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The corner ended in Marick Brunt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter did a great save. Dan Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Waud De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Kjellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marick Brunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Dan Kjellman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Carberry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loid De Keuster in the 50th minute of the match. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 53rd minute of play. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Joop Bakker replaced Shaq Francis. In the 65th minute, Joop Meder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Martijn August replaced Dan Kjellman. In the 82nd minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Martijn August managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Martijn August was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waud De Geyter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's Joop Meder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waud De Geyter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Loid De Keuster came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Martijn August dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waud De Geyter, 0-8. FC Bal op het Dak's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
