In the 5th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Steven Homan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waud De Geyter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Izydor Czysta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamin Carberry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steven Homan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Waud De Geyter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Steven Homan sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. In the 19th minute, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Homan got free with Waud De Geyter in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix van As struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Waud De Geyter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Balverliefd. Yorrick Zoethout didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 37th minute Benjamin Carberry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Carberry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Steven Homan sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steven Homan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan managed to work through Silver Squad AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Steven Homan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 58 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Ooms who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Silver Squad AFC's corner Henrik Ooms fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yorrick Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. In the 59th minute, Felix van As hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Silver Squad AFC's Yorrick Zoethout threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frans Van Caubergen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Steven Homan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waud De Geyter having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Homan came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Damazy Radzyminski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the SV Balverliefd players grew even worse after the yellow card. SV Balverliefd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix van As in the 75th minute. Yorrick Zoethout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid De Keuster in the 78th minute. When Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 90th minute of play. Benny De Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Frans Van Caubergen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Yorrick Zoethout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loid De Keuster in the 95th minute. SV Balverliefd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
