With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies got control of the ball when Andreas Sandell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Artur Mendes. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Kjellman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Hampus Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Bal op het Dak eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
