After a rather tough play, Mansfield Town FC's Maximilian Seger got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sandell in the 45th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
