The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 方潮海 in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 谢霆西 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 方潮海 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in 『盛世メ名門』山东泰山队's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 方潮海 came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head.
