Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dario Hussain kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Leon Platense's Constantino Anaya made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Leon Platense fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Leon Platense's Dario Hussain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Platense from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Leandro in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Klaas Alberts got a free kick in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Ruperto Rainerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Mina in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Rainerio saved Leon Platense from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Milagros Fraga could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Ruperto Rainerio however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leon Platense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Leandro in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Leon Platense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio did a great save. Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Ruperto Rainerio in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Peru were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Leon Platense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruperto Rainerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leon Platense's goalie prevented a goal. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Edgar Ahlgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Platense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Edgar Ahlgren hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Anaya. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ruperto Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Anaya in the 80th minute of play. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dario Hussain hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Edgar Ahlgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. The Peru supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leon Platense's performance. The match ended with a win for Leon Platense.
