When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Freddie Wikander sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Remigiusz Walec's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Walec helped the player get up and apologised. Remigiusz Walec hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ekerö IF:s Arvin Bollström showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Freddie Wikander sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Ziemowit Podolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ekerö IF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Bollström came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Antoni Zywiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Antoni Zywiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ekerö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Arvin Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Freddie Wikander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekerö IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Bollström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Freddie Wikander made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes in the game Antoni Zywiec did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Freddie Wikander. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvin Bollström saved Ekerö IF from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ekerö IF fully deserved thier win.
