Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andre Shakespeare started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Will Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mato Špišić, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 13 minutes, Mato Špišić made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Andre Shakespeare notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Shakespeare in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Lu Wagner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenbay and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Lu Wagner got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Vecdi Başesgioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Eugen Remus managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Will Alderson went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugen Remus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 47 minutes into the game, Greenbay's Will Alderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After the first half Greenbay were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After some careless play in the Greenbay defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugen Remus. The Greenbay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Remus should have stopped the shot. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Vecdi Başesgioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. When Tyler Morton came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Greenbay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyler Morton couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Will Alderson from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Shakespeare, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Andre Shakespeare came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Greenbay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Shakespeare couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Shakespeare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greenbay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
