Karol Swiderski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. Konstanty Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulhamit Beycan in the 10th minute of play. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Sârban in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Nistor Sârban took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Konstanty Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaroslav Svitlychnyi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstanty Wawro saved Rega Merida CF from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Nistor Sârban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Nistor Sârban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Rega Merida CF defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Wawro. The Rega Merida CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Wawro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ryan Gravenhorst hit a great ball. Colombia's Kevin Mastache pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 46 minutes, Telis Lianos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rega Merida CF and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telis Lianos to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Carballar in the 58th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Sârban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After having played for 71 minutes, Nistor Sârban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Sârban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Bartosz Loncki replaced Telis Lianos. Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek was substituted for Nistor Sârban. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Konstanty Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Konrad Knopek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstanty Wawro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignacio Mastache hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Rega Merida CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaroslav Svitlychnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Knopek in the 93rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rega Merida CF had won after a very even match.
