Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nasos Tsionas made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Vogiatzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Vogiatzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stratos Vogiatzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Marios Natsouras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lembit Lutsar in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Panos Giataganis hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stratos Vogiatzis. Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Vogiatzis having to interfere. Stratos Vogiatzis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Stratos Vogiatzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stratos Vogiatzis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Vogiatzis having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stratos Vogiatzis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 44th minute. Marios Natsouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stratos Vogiatzis. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Stratos Vogiatzis made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Stratos Vogiatzis to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of play forced Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's Stratos Vogiatzis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Tsionas in the 67th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Stratos Vogiatzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stratos Vogiatzis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Natsouras in the 79th minute of the match. Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Markos Kopsidas took the corner. The corner led Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's Markos Kopsidas to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Stratos Vogiatzis made a huge save. Stratos Vogiatzis was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ and deserved their victory. The Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
