Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Sanches. Slavo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Slavo FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Sanches came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otávio Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guilherme Wisnewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Clóvis Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slavo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otávio Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 58th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Otávio Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jardel Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jardel Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Slavo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Ribeiro. Cristian Sancho in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otávio Sanches, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Otávio Sanches in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Slavo FC's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Wisnewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar de Souza hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Otávio Sanches made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Otávio Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jardel Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Slavo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
