Feliciano Fernendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 46th minute Villa Mitre City were awarded a corner. Urbano Mendiko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Urbano Mendiko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Fernendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fernendo in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Feliciano Fernendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Kenny Sparkes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Kenny Sparkes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's Mauricio Macías sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Macías came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Urdaspal made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mauricio Macías immediately put the ball in play. After 91 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Villa Mitre City players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Villa Mitre City were the better team. Villa Mitre City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
