Şener Irmak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Kingsley Coman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Laboon SK's goalkeeper Şener Irmak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şener Irmak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Laboon SK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. İrfan Genç hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Gökdeniz Karadeniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şener Irmak came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
