Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Cordairo. Copetonas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Cordairo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno da Mata in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Paxinos in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Pompiliu Ciutacu sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Cordairo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. Diego Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcelo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno da Mata in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jeronimo Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breno da Mata was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Marcelo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno da Mata in the 53rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Copetonas AFC's Breno da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Copetonas AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arko Thomaschewski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marcelo Cordairo made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arko Thomaschewski in the 79th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Copetonas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 91st minute. Epifanio Canor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo Cordairo firmly grabbed it by the left post.
