Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finlay Stair got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Finlay Stair who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Carlinhos da Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Valadares in the 16th minute of the match. If Marco Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romon Oliver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Carlinhos da Costa made a huge save. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Finlay Stair got free with Carlinhos da Costa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Sanches hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Carlinhos da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romon Oliver in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Jamaica got a corner. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Finlay Stair ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlinhos da Costa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Finlay Stair sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Dário Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Haroldo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Rezende in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Valadares in the 44th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Dário Gomes. 56 minutes into the match, Karlus Waugh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karlus Waugh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 60 minutes of play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Válter de Sousa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Geraldo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jarell Hill came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarell Hill couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match, Marco Valadares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demonde Jacobson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute Marco Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Marco Valadares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 1-3 after 87 minutes of play. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Paulo Pontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-4. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Valadares in the 96th minute. E.C 2 Janeiro RS played a much better game than Jamaica and deserved their victory. The Jamaica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
