In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper Zacarias Sesimbra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Sesimbra made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. A well done corner resulted in Milagros Fraga drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Dragonf⮊rcE's goalkeeper. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Afonso Quadros, made in the 14th minute of the game. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Afonso Quadros made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Sesimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Zacarias Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Sesimbra. Dragonf⮊rcE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Sesimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Dresselbjerg in the 53rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Dragonf⮊rcE's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Pauleta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zacarias Sesimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Herman Dresselbjerg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herman Dresselbjerg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Dragonf⮊rcE's Ludo Tobbackers was substituted for Herman Dresselbjerg. A sloppy throw-in by Afonso Quadros in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Joaquin Prats. A collision led to Dragonf⮊rcE getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Afonso Quadros hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Zacarias Sesimbra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 81 minutes, Moises Gayoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Gayoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Alcocer in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dragonf⮊rcE's Afonso Quadros. Zacarias Sesimbra came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 93rd minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Sesimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
