Amos Domenici hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Orlandi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Cantagallo replaced Alexander Barone. After having played for 68 minutes, Amos Domenici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Remug Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Domenici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Eugenio Orlandi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Remug Red Devils's Ferdinando Capuozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Remug Red Devils's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ferdinando Capuozzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Orlandi in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes of play, FC Remug Red Devils's Amos Domenici made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Remug Red Devils were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
