Rio Newton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes, Edgar Termander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Project X and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uruguay's Bruno Beldad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stig Johnsson in the 27 minute of the game. Kristoffer Tingelholm hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Bergsten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Simon Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Kevin Carballal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jerzy Piechna. In the 43rd minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Jerzy Piechna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerzy Piechna to strike the kick off in the second half. Project X's Simon Bergsten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Project X from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Newton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Gallagher charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Gallagher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Project X getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. John Gallagher hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Project X's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Bergsten came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Simon Bergsten in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Project X's Simon Bergsten. Simon Bergsten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Bergsten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Stig Johnsson made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ingvar Malmberg however managed to control. In the 83rd minute, Rio Newton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Project X fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Project X getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kristoffer Tingelholm hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uruguay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
