When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Natalio Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Wennerqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 62nd minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. The throw-in from Cyprien Combaz in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute Hernan Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Julian Murillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist did a great save. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
