The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bierunese were winning 0-7.

The wind increased when Kevin Arnolds made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Bram Sandstra could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Kevin Arnolds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Arnolds got free with Benito Sanz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
