Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Paco Everett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bath Boyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Kris Pearse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Kris Pearse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Kris Pearse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Kris Pearse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Pearse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Long Worsley made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paco Everett. In the 21st match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Long Worsley to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Ned Mills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boroondara Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Bath Boyce had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo Espiga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kris Pearse struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. After 31 minutes, Drake Sobczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boroondara Milan and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Drake Sobczak kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bath Boyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Kris Pearse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boroondara Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Pearse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Honduras. After 43 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bath Boyce was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Everett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ned Mills was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ned Mills hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Long Worsley came free in the 68th minute and tried to tip the ball over Lautaro Navarro, but to the joy of Honduras's supporters the ball went over. Rolando Luckham hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boroondara Milan booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kris Pearse hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentín Carvallo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Kris Pearse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
