Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Spiros Bekyros kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MINAY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC MINAY's Ruslan Grytsenko did a great save. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Iosif Vulpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ruslan Grytsenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Spiros Bekyros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC MINAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rostyslav Tarakhtiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Rostyslav Tarakhtiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spiros Bekyros in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, FC MINAY's Spiros Bekyros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spiros Bekyros in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Spiros Bekyros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corrado Coletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Coletti in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Spiros Bekyros in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Spiros Bekyros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, FC MINAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rostyslav Tarakhtiy to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iosif Vulpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spiros Bekyros in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Corrado Coletti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-5. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Spiros Bekyros sent off a good shot on target. FC MINAY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
