Felix Condeescu's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 19th minute of the match Christian Sancho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costel Juverdeanu skillfully saved the ball. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Dinu Semeghin made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, Dinu Semeghin threw the ball into play from the sideline. After a rather tough play, Peretu City 09's Felix Condeescu got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Juverdeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Dinu Semeghin made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ciprian Deliman immediately put the ball in play. In the 59th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costel Juverdeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Adam Băsescu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Băsescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Costel Juverdeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Dinu Semeghin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
