Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. When Gilberto Izel came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Izel couldn't finish the play. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nicanor Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Gilberto Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Moscatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 28th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gilberto Izel hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Franco Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Izel was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franco Moscatelli. Franco Moscatelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Nicanor Ramos got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Enrique Rozarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Cazalla during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 83rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Enrique Rozarius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
