After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Liu Zhi Guang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akira アキラ's supporters rose to their feet, but Liu Zhi Guang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Liu Zhi Guang notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Liu Zhi Guang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Laércio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Akira アキラ's Giorgi Mamardashvili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Giorgi Mamardashvili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Akira アキラ booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Laércio Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Akira アキラ's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgi Mamardashvili came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. If Laércio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Akira アキラ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
