Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when Doru Lițu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Brodel in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Österlund got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Doru Lițu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-0. Cauã Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of the match. Eusébio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cauã Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper Cauã Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauã Xavier. The Beatles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in The Beatles's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Xavier came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Cauã Xavier threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The Beatles's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Xavier came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of The Beatles booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cauã Xavier made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Brodel came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, The Beatles's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Cauã Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Beatles's Frederico Messias was substituted for Evert Österlund. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Elder Santos made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Frederico Messias however managed to control. Cauã Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Secada made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauã Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernani Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
