The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 57th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joel Delfino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Julian Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen was substituted for Hans Otterlei. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
