But to his dismay, Stig Malmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Malmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Stig Malmgren scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Malmgren in the 21st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren. But to his dismay, Stig Malmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 29th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Malmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicens Espina went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Malmgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stig Malmgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded union española s.a. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
